The US was actually going to impose 25% on EU automobiles if a deal was not made which would have reduced according to some estimates imports by 50%. Who do you think this would have affected most?

The offer of subsidies to US farmers is a signal to China that the trade war will continue and their efforts to put pressure on the US thru soybean farmers has failed! The deal with the European Union to buy US soybeans undercut China's effort to play hardball on the subject of a fair trade deal with the US! So, China can be hard headed and wait till huge economic damage is laid upon Chinese businesses who has been complaining of 50% or more in reduced sales. I have said it before and I will say it again! The US has economic leverage to inflict huge economic pain on Chinese businesses if they will not come to the table and sign a fair trade deal! After the European Union deal, other countries will line up and sign fair trade deals with the US! How long do you think China will hold on? President Trump knows the hell what he is doing compared to hacks mouthing of plain nonsense! That is why he is winning and hacks have egg on their faces at each and every turn!
