I'll be interested in seeing how thorough the security gets investigated. It is really difficult to believe some random lunatic gains access to a rooftop that close, having such a clear line of sight to the target, carrying a rifle and nobody spots him.

From the videos, it looks like the SS/Police snipers spotted him before his first shot, had him in their sights, but they waited for him to shoot before opening fire.

I can confirm that Secret Service snipers have vests with “police” on them with no other insignia. At least this is true based on Biden’s visit to North Carolina a while ago. This is because they don’t want snipers on roof tops in plain clothes and want something that identifies them as law enforcement. The above BTW came from our neighbor who is local law enforcement.

They could also be local Police. Trump not being the current POTUS does not get anywhere the same level of SS protection as Biden and has to rely alot more on local police help when he travels.

He donated $15 to some progressive group so he most likely was left-wing. He might have been registered Republican just to vote against Trump in the primary. At the moment it doesn’t appear that he tried to assassinate Trump for trying to soften the party’s stance on abortion or something like that.

This is one of the claims floating around the internet backed by no evidence whatsoever at this point.
