And? Byrd left the KKK in the 40s and had a 100% rating from NAACP for his work supporting civil rights.

Bringing up a dead Senator who gave up his racist ways 80 years ago is fair how? Trump is giving material support to Nazis NOW, he hasn't reformed his ways. In fact he has gone the opposite way after making anti-racist comments in the 90s.

GZ always said..."When it comes to racism...a leopard never changes their spots".
I'm sure Trumps father was not keen on selling expensive real estate to blacks in NYC. Thats just the way it was back then when it came to high dollar real estate. Shameful... but true. But Klan? No. Thats ridiculous.

Byrd was however. And I don't believe people can change. They can say they change.... but no flippin way do you go from a Grand Dragon to someone else. He probably sucked up to and kissed the NAACP's ass for years because he saw the writing on the wall and knew he would be toast unless he shed that skeleton.
