Trump: Pope's comment disgraceful

I think the proper thing to do is to form a coalition with all these "caring" leaders around the world and take care of these refugees in their homeland.

If you wish to be caring about your own people too, you consider immigration of family units and you screen very hard against any indicia of a potential terrorist threat. You might just screen out young men without families.

As a leader you have to care about both groups of people the refugees and the threat of terrorism in your home population. It not just a let them all in idea.

If I were Obama I would have raised billions in donations for the refugees instead of raising money for democrats... I mean if I really cared about the people.
ha,ha,ha, Yes, just let the "leaders" take care of it. I am too busy making money and all my free time goes to bitching about the government.

Is that really what Jesus would do?

Thank you for the advice. Anything else I should do? You really should have a "You really should" app, and all you have to do is fill in the blank.

There, see how easy it is?
Admittedly, I can understand why you forget what you write in your posts the moment you post them. Maybe it's for the best.

The Pope, a leader of one of the most criminally and morally corrupt organizations on the planet, is in no position to be judging anyone, or anything. We all know the story of the pedo priests that still prey on children. We all know of the corruption in the Vatican Bank and the billions of dollars horded for who knows what. We all know of the hateful and vengeful God they preach to their flock, thereby screwing up the minds of hundreds of millions of people. Hey Pope, clean up your own house. It's a fucking mess.

An outdated organisation, without any opposition party, organised royal commissioner, independent high court team, outsider internal auditor, etc.

As Deming mentioned, change better requires an external agent!

Probably not too much Francis could do easily for now! (Perhaps he was appointed due to he himself really didn't want the position!)

Perhaps one thing at a time!

People act like Jesus was some sort of leftist fool unaware of politics and danger?
That not the sense I get when I read the bible.

When Jesus said render unto God what is God's and unto Ceasar what is Ceasars...
what portion of your wealth and your life do you think he was saying was owed to Ceasar? I say close to all was God's portion. ( I just realized if one is giving a lot of their money to Gov't one could say that is wrong.)
Jesus got crucified by big Govt run by corrupt men. A portion of his ministry was spent warning political/religious leaders to cease being corrupt and cease standing in the way of individuals getting to know God with their endless man made laws.
We don't just turn off our brains and follow corrupt leaders or plans.

While we should be caring and nice to all people as individuals. Things get more complicated when you look at nations and states.

It would not be necessarily be morally just to risk the collapse one country to save another when you could protect one country and improve another.

I think Jesus would tell us to pray and then act in a just manner... attempting to discerns God's will but knowing that we will never completely know.

are the leaders not in charge of immigration policy? Because this policy does not reflect what the people of the US want.

but.... let me say... I am also pretty confident Jesus would not want the Pope telling Americans they are not Christian because they want secure borders.

So while in no way am I saying I speak for Jesus on this one... I am confident the Pope was wrong on that one.
