Depends on a lot of unknown factors.The FBI would need an airtight case.Republicans and the conservative media accusations wont make democrats turn on their own.

You are correct. I would only expect a federal indictment of a sitting President based on an FBI investigation if they had an airtight case - not on media accusations or congressional committees. However if the situation reaches this type of plateau then any Senator not voting for impeachment is certainly doomed.
