The Republican party has been hollowed out of all its principles, whatever they may once have been. The Democratic party, not nearly as much.
I agree with that. Evangelicals lost all clout by supporting a guy whose whole life goes against all they claim to hold dear. As far as GOP, do you recall all those sky is falling screams when Obama was running deficits. Once their guy got in charge, they had no problem doubling deficit with unnecessary tax cuts for uber rich, while showing a middle finger to middle class.

Drives me nuts when I see that. This is why people need to focus on issues and not individuals. If you take a stand on a position, it should be a position you can defend. No matter who violates that principle, you can and should call them out on it. You'll never be hypocritical.
