You do realize that nearly 50% of registered voters are registered in 2 or more states. This is because states have done a very poor job at cleaning up their voter registration rolls.

The real question is "did this individual vote in two states in the same election cycle?" And "is the registered voter legally registered - meaning that they are a citizen, non-felon, and lived at the time of registration in the designated location."

This "news story" is a non-story -- and is a classic example of fake news.

Funny, how you didn't have this explanation for the LA County propaganda being spread by salty Cons for losing the popular vote. Maybe you should explain it to them, they even have a fake chart when they don't even understand the data.

Everyone should have a problem with a county having more registered voters than resident citizens. This mean that the county has done a very poor job of maintaining and cleaning up their voter rolls (as required by law). The lawsuit demands that these counties clean up their voter rolls which is quite proper.

Yes, 'integrity panels' run by people who have no integrity bothers me, set up an independent panel with people like Mueller and I will back it. I am opposed to people like Trump (who paid damages for fraud) and Kobach who is a known fraud

They should and they are but it takes a long time to kick someone off the voter rolls if they don't voluntarily do it themselves(thats also the law).

I am still on the voting rolls in the state I attended college over 30 years ago. Despite sending them multiple letters over the years to remove me.

In this case the county/state is clearly at fault for failing to remove me and following the law. In fact they are supposed to remove me from the rolls when another state informs them I have registered to vote in a new venue but this never seems to occur.

The LA lawsuit simply asks that these counties clean up their voting rolls as required by law.

I will note that most other democratic nations require a form of picture id to vote. I support this part of voting laws; the other proposed parts in many states such as eliminating motor/voter registration, eliminating early voting, etc. I do not support. I will note that states whose voting law changes simply required a picture id and also offered work-arounds for those without id have been supported in court.

I would support a voter integrity panel led by an independent or bi-partisan commission over Kobach. The bottom line is the panel would need to do its job to force a clean-up of voting rolls across states, and enforce better mechanisms to dump invalid voters such as non-citizens from the rolls.
