If you are trying to demurely suggest you are a member of the ominous majority whose ignorance sets the national tone, you've succeeded. Coming from the Mississippi of the North, as you do, I suppose it's all quite consistent..
Have you heard of the expression, "Lost in translation" ? Here is a case where the expression is best left in the original Spanish.
It's also good to use when you want to be sarcastic for someone wasting your time.

And yes. Even though I am in Progressive Utopia on the Left Coast now, I am originally from Maine which was originally part of Massachusetts. My great .g.g.g.g.g.grandfather received land there for serving in a Rhode Island and Massachusetts before they were absorbed into the Continental Army during the Revolution. Lots of people there similarly descended- in Maine, the place you call "the Mississippi of the North."
Most of you clowns- Nine Ender being a classic example- are too ashamed to acknowledge where you are originially from - not me.
