Turned out to be just like Clinton, didn't he.

I totally get that one cannot expect to get 100% of your agenda or even what has been promised. At the same time, we see a big difference between trying and not getting versus adopting completely opposite policies.
The criticism of Trump from the alt right and others is that he seems to be teetering on the latter, ie going completely contrary to what we were promised.
Republican voters have zero tolerance these days for broken promises. They were furious when the senators and representative delivered nothing after a lot of smack talk about Obama. Instead, he handed them their asses. That was large part of why those voters went for Trump.
And the last one term president, Bush 41, is remembered chiefly for a broken promise, "Read my lips, no new taxes." He had overwhelmingly positive poll numbers after the Kuwait war but they quickly faded.

I remember posting that all we needed out of Trump were conservative sup ct judges.
So much better than another sotomayor for the future of out country.
So with that we are winning.
Every one of us knew there was a risk Trump would not have the guts or the power to stand up to the establishment. I thought/ hoped he would most likely get almost nothing done because of the establishment but use twitter to get them replaced for the next 4 years... and that he would then have a great second term.
But.. it looks like he did not have the guts to stick with bannon and his base.
So now I would bet he is at least 50/50 to be a one term GWB president.
Its a shame. But it was likely.
But... I still thank him for Gorsuch.
I secretly hope he will get tired of the swamp... and say its time to get rid of the IRS. It might not work at first but he could get every republican standing in his way replaced via twitter. (some democrats too.)

Your misguided priorities are a good example why the US is in slow decline right now as a nation. You'll get your wall and your judge, and you made life more difficult for people in certain ethnic groups. The world thinks the US has gone nuts with this alt-right crap. If you identify with Bannon and his base, well, your part of the problem. At least Trump realizes some of his mistakes given time, it's practically the only reason that Trump isn't going to destroy your economy with tariffs and all the protectionist bs he's been preaching. He may try but he does seem to notice when things go badly and reverse course.
