Trump attorneys' letter to Mueller spells out legal arguments against Trump sitting down for intervi

Embarrassing argument. Total nonsense. He dictated a statement to the NYT, not the FBI. That can't be obstruction.
I hate to be blunt (no, not really :)) but UsefulIdiot is a fucking moron who summarily dismissed Hillary's email scandal while having this level of knowledge:

"Classified is the lowest level of secret, this included newspaper articles."

More recently he wrote this delusional piece of fiction. His mind ain't right.

"Todays American liberals are in fact in the same form of liberalism as the founders of this country."

It doesn’t matter, it shows Trump’s larger role in his son attempting to cover up the contents of the meeting. There have been numerous issues with this meeting and that letter. Corallo resigned almost immediately after Trump dictated the letter.

Was paying off that porn slut another example of obstruction?

LOL. You guys are good entertainment. Like was said of a number of liberal Supreme Court justices, you can tell how they will rule by the names of the parties. The law doesn't matter when you are pursuing tribal politics. Slowly, republican voters are catching on to that, even if their elected officials seem oblivious. Mueller has zero credibility and never had any. Same with Comey and the partisan "intell officials" of the obama regime.

Paying off the porn actress was a violation of campaign finance laws.

Mens rae is a critical aspect of criminal investigations, indictments and prosecutions. The fact that Trump worked with his son to concoct a story to conceal possible criminal activity is an undeniable aspect of 1. His involvement and 2. His intention.

It is not Mueller’s choice to put Trump in a position to plead the fifth, it is Trump’s.

No. Other way round. It is Mueller's choice to put Trump in a position where he knows full well that a defendant's attorney/s would ordinarily recommend or could very likely recommend that the defendant exercise his constitutional right to remain silent. You keep laying out all these arguments about how Mueller has all sorts of stuff to nail Trump's balls to the wall and then always end out whining that Trump is not being a good sport by helping Mueller to play his witch hunting game.

Let me give you a clue, most prosecutors should and do expect that a defendant might not help them where they can avoid it so the prosecutor might need to be able to prove the case without the defendant offering to hang himself or submit himself to the prosecutors attempts to hang him. Can I get a great big DUH! and an amen on that?

You’re over thinking this. Mueller is going through the normal motions of a complete and thorough investigation with the added complication that one of the “subjects” of the investigation is the president.

Mueller has brought in dozens of people to interview, Trump is just another one.

No. Let me correct that. Trump is just another one who he has NOT brought in.

Again, you keep trying to present Trump as not playing ball with Mueller who brings lots of people in for little interviews so what's the problem.

Sorry but as discussed many times, Trump and some others are going to put on a real defense. If Mueller brought Gates, Popacrockulus, Flynn etc and shook them down and entrapped them when they didnt have counsel, had limited funds to protect themselves and the other families members that were being threatened with prosecution, then that does not mean that Trump needs to sign up for it.

Trump has to deal with Mueller- but Mueller needs to deal with Trump.

Let me know when the prosecution of Trump begins for real before a real jury- not talking just indictment. We know that Mueller has all his facts and evidence lined up because you keep reminding us. So, that's fine. Let's go. Or are we still waiting for Trump to walk into the trap so that Mueller will have some kind of case? Nevermind.

You try to make this all about Trump and that works as a useful distraction to the larger case profile: Russian interference in the election.

I know you know the Russians were pro Trump and working on his behalf but that doesn’t work neatly in the so called MAGA narrative. Was Russia really trying to make America great by helping Trump? Of course not they wanted the discord and instability that comes with Trump.

Now we have a very important investigation going on to determine who did what with who in the election but the hoople head Trump supporters are afraid the investigation will undermine their ill gotten political gains.

So in the end your ilk is fighting to cover up the impact the Russians had in the election by going full jihad on the investigation and using Trump as a proxy for the cover up.

You’re not making America great you’re letting Russia walk all over our democracy.

Ahhhh...no. That is not going to work because as usual I see your crabwalk away from what was being discussed.

You are the one who wants to make it all about Trump- until it is not working for you and then you walk to crabwalk away from it.

Yesterday you were all about Trump. Big theories on indictments, legal doctrines about the presidency. Don Jr., Stormy and so on. And then touting how Mr. "Speedy-Pace" Mueller was closing in on Trump through long, heavy-duty investigation and ball-busting indictments of some underlings or alleged associates. Yup, you were all about Trump and every little detail.

Until I asked how many of those underling indictments had to do with russians or russian collusion. Then you had a sudden need to crabwalk away without answering...and then I asked again......and responded by citing the Concord Management case. A case where there is russian involvement but absolutely no indication/suggestion that involves anything that Trump ever did or his associates either. Not exactly the peppiest case to cite to confirm that Mueller is closing in on Trump's russian activities via prosecution of his associates. This isnt CNN here on the forum. You can't indict Trump just by showing some russians were indicted somewhere else on something that did not involve them. And of course, even thought they are indicted, mueller is going to have his hands full getting convictions- so it is probably just a bogus witch-hunting case even without Trump. Mueller trying to get some easy scalps by indicting people who he did not think would defend themselves but were guilty of being russian when he needed russian scalps to compensate for his poor showing in that area.

Again, the notion that it is not all about Trump for you is absurd. It is until you need to crabwalk, then suddenly you want to go into a generic discussion of the threat to this county from Russians. A threat that almost everyone agrees with and expected Obama to do something about it....instead of saying that he left it alone until after the election because it did not want to rock the election boat because it still looked like Hillary was set to win.

Oh, and lest we forget through all the bullshit and crabwalking, there is only one candidate who has been proven to date to have colluded with and hired foreign agents, including current/former kgb agents to help bring down an opposition candidate. And that was Hillary Rodham Clinton.
