Trump Adopts AAA Immigration Policy: No More Muslims

We can only hope... but I now note everyone is aware that the Republicans in Washington don't represent the republican voters and some democrats realize they have been screwed by democrats.
There has been a massive shift over the last 5 years. 5 years ago when the conversation came up few republicans were willing to condemn the establishment and few dems would admit to problems.
When I first admitted to myself how screwed we were... I felt like the loan wolf among friends during our political conversations... some friends even voted for Obama the first time.
Now I don't even have to open my mouth... everyone makes the arguments for me... sometimes better, sometimes stronger. Its an amazing shift... oddly the only thing missing is that we group together into a new party. Regan Dems, alienated republicans and non drone independents probably add up to 70% or more on the issues tied to illegal and illogical immigration policies and close to 70% want to keep jobs here and lower taxes. We all want safe secure borders and a reasonably strong but safer military. We probably want to get rid of daylight savings time.
We could pull in more people with an overhaul to obamacare that gets rid of the mandate and in exchange provides for a govt paid base level of catestrophic insurance.
Companies and individuals could then choose premium options... that might even finance itself.... if you include what federal state and local govt are already paying to doctors and hospitals. We pull medicare D and negotiate bulk rates... and we all win... except cronies.
I am just getting started on how much we could improve govt, if we removed crony control.
The cronies have been giving us the worst of the left and right since Reagan.
I would love to see someone flip the script and give us the best of what each side has to offer.

The sell-out caucus don't seem to have a problem with obama favoring muslim immigrants. Somehow favoring them over persecuted Christians is acceptable, but taking a hard look at them is unamerican.

Republican voters don't think Donald Trump is likable. They don't think he's compassionate. And many don't consider him particularly honest.
But he's overwhelmingly viewed as decisive and competent. And that's what matters most — at least for now — to Republicans.

If guns were only used for aggression by bad actors that might make sense.
Perhaps you would like to tell us why we should let immigrants in when some have the potential to do terrorism.
That is the part no one seems to be getting on the left.
There is no reason to subject ourselves to the risk. Why take it?
When the proven risks can be as large as the twin towers... and the speculative risks could include dirty bombs, suitcase nukes and biological agents, wiping out the grid or polluting water supplies. (and that is just off the top of my head.)
