Treyvon Martin issue is starting to irritate the hell out of me

The young adult, Trayvon Martin, was already becomming prone to using violence and had been suspened from school for various infractions.

As Dan Linehan, a blogger at Wagist.com, pointed out, correspondence with Martin on Twitter before he died alludes to an incident with a bus driver. "Yu ain't tell me you swung on a bus driver," Martin's cousin wrote to him on Feb. 21.

The same week, Martin was suspended for 10 days from Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School in North Miami-Dade. "He was not suspended for something dealing with violence or anything like that," his father said. "It wasn't a crime he committed, but he was in an unauthorized area [on school property]," declining to offer more details.

But a family spokesman told the Associated Press on Monday that Martin was suspended because marijuana residue was found in his book bag.

Ironically, they found the marijuana residue upon searching his bag looking for a marker he had used to deface a door at the school. They also found silver and diamond jewelery and a screwdriver that is typically the sized used for jimmying which Trayvon said were not his.

Great post. A few of us have been asking that question about the black-on-black crime.

Probably once a month some kid under the age of 12 takes a bullet in gang crossfire on the south or west side of Chicago. Where are all the race hustlers to end the violence when that occurs? Frankly, they've already given up hope on turning around most of the blight.

It's just gossip denner, that's all this issue is about. We're all like a bunch of old retired farts at the coffee shop bullshitting about how the world ought to be and what we'd do if we were in charge and how much smarter we are.

No no no I saw on the news just last night that he was a volunteer at the local soup kitchen an honor student and captain of the football team. He dated the Prom queen loved his mother and rescued animals. He also aspired to be a nurse.

In 2005, George Zimmerman was twice accused of either criminal misconduct or violence.

That July, Zimmerman — 21 at the time — was at a bar near the University of Central Florida when a friend was arrested by state alcohol agents on suspicion of serving underage drinkers, according to an arrest report.

Zimmerman was talking with his friend, became profane and pushed an agent who tried to escort him away, the report said. Authorities said he was arrested after a short struggle.

Charged with resisting arrest without violence, he avoided conviction by entering a pretrial-diversion program, something common for first-time offenders.

A month later, court records show, a woman filed a petition for an injunction against Zimmerman, citing domestic violence.

I love it when I get inside of people's head. It's not my fault you live in nowhere Georgia, and live an uneventful life. Being a glorified cabbie can be stressful I know, but hey, I'm sure the waitress down at the local waffle house thinks you are great!

Keep it up!:D

:D :D

Zimmerman probably saved someones life that Trayvon would have taken as his thug personality developed over the next few years.

Your posts are baffling for a sane person. Not so much if you suffer the same condition as IQ-47.

So it is beginning to look like Zimmerman's instincts on this guy were spot on. He had been involved in defacing property, drugs and probably burglary. Just the sort of troublemaker you don't want wandering around your neighborhood.

How sad that black racism is so virulent that they are demanding blood over this without even knowing the facts. I can only imagine the sanctimonious lectures we would be getting from the media if the races were reversed and whites and hispanics were demanding their version of justice, or if some white group had posted a bounty.

Its pretty well settled as of this evening. Its tragic. Its hard to process. The idea of a 17-year old dying is simply horrible. His parents are devastated. His community is enraged.

Zimmerman may have saved his own life but he now has to live the rest of that life as a pariah and will most certainly be shunned by friends, family, neighbors and anyone who recognizes him. He will never have a career and will most likely not be able to have a family of his own. In all likelyhood he will have to hide out like Casey Anthony or try to live in exile overseas.

We ought to ask ourselves how this can be prevented. I keep coming back to the idea that a Neighborhood Watch volunteer should be prohibited from carrying a concealed firearm and should receive some kind of rudimentary training. I'm not saying gun control, I'm saying that these types of volunteers should be prevented from carrying a weapon by state law or local ordinance. That would discourage aggression or confrontation between Watchers and those being watched. A Neighborhood Watch volunteer is supposed to alert the police when they see something untoward or clearly illegal occuring. They are not supposed to detain people or follow people or confront people. There should be a state or federal law preventing guns from being carried by these folks.

Nice post. I was thinking the same thing, in many ways, justice has already been served. We will never really know the truth, but after watching msnbc yesterday, this man may as well be Hitler. You forgot to mention that he is most likely a wanted man. Talk about pressure.
