Typical, she probably only got pregnant with him to begin with to get more welfare. Now she's going profit from his death as well.
What kind of parent even thinks of profiting from their child's death barley a month after?
LOL Yeah...maybe...but I doubt it.Quote from AK Forty Seven:
Maybe she wants to stop others from profiting from her loss
Maybe she would like to start a foundation so something like this doesn't happen to others peoples children
Quote from Yannis:
OK folks, here's a question: Let's assume, for a moment, that a few people in that town had some information damaging to the Treyvon cause, ie, assume they know what happened, witnessed something, had a text that he was planning something bad wrt that housing development, drugs, whatever. Do you think that they would feel free to come forward and give that information to the special prosecutor now? With the black panthers looking on?
I don't think so... I don't know what exactly happened, but unfortunately the chance for justice to work here has gone down to zero with all this publicity, Sharpton, Jesse, et al... not to mention that Obama declaring on prime TV that Treyvon looked like the some he never had elevates the victim to the level of sainthood - how can anyone now say anything bad about that young man?
Which goes to show you: politicians are not out to see justice done, just to gather votes for their personal power trip. Where are these same people when they need to defend the victims of black-on-black crime?![]()

Agreed. "Trademarking" slogans for Trayvon..unreal.
Quote from gwb-trading:
This is probably to prevent others from making a commercial profit off of Trayvon Martin's name rather than with the intent of the family to make money off their son's name themselves. This was probably a step recommended by lawyers.
You do realize that the names of anyone who has been in the public spotlight including musicians, entertainers, business executives, and others have their names trade marked by their families to prevent others from making a commercial profit off their names. Many times this occurs after they have died (e.g. Steve Jobs).
Quote from Max E. Pad:
If that was the case why would they only trademark 2 phrases, its not as if someone cant just use something else. All they Trademarked was "I am Trayvon" and "justice for Trayvon"
Sybrina Fulton is seeking marks for the phrases âI Am Trayvonâ and âJustice for Trayvon,â according to filings made last week with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In both instances, Fulton, 46, is seeking the trademarks for use on âDigital materials, namely, CDs and DVDs featuring Trayvon Martin,â and other products.Quote from denner:
