Treyvon Martin issue is starting to irritate the hell out of me

This 'gated community' has no gates on the two access roads to the primary streets. Take a look at google maps. Sanford confirmed that the roads and sidewalks in the community are public-rights-of-way maintained by the local government.

The same can be said for you. I expect that Martin has the right to defend himself against Zimmerman who pursued him aggressively and then attacked him. It does not give Zimmerman the right to shoot Martin after the teen gained the upper hand in the struggle.

However seeing that the start of Zimmerman's explanation holds no water, you have to discount the rest of it as pure BS to save him from being charged.
I'm perfectly willing to accept the decision to indict or not from a grand jury after a proper investigation is performed by state & federal authorities. If the decision is to indict then I will accept the later decision of guilty or not from a jury without making a fuss.
Are you willing to let the legal process handle this situation? Or do you oppose a proper investigation and grand jury meeting for this shooting?

I've never seen your handle before, so as you describe yourself as a Republican and in that case I expect to be on the other side in all the rest of the debates down here, let me just say you're doing an excellent job in this one.
The above is what I've been wanting to say all along. I can't figure out these other folks, who think Zimmerman can defend himself even though he started the ruckus, but it was some sort of crime for Trayvon to defend himself even though all he was doing was walking home from the store. Then you've got the additional fact he got out of his SUV and chased him while muttering "fucking (c)(g)oons" under his breath; whether it was one or the other doesn't matter: it shows that Zimmerman was all worked up and ready for a fight before he got to Trayvon.
But somehow these folks want to say it was all Martin's fault anyway. I can't for the life of me figure out the logic behind that one.
