I cant speak for everyone, but somehow i think i might just be able to get to sleep at night even with the horror of knowing some lawyer out there might be taking a small hit to his pocket book.....

With the intent that this hit is merely a 'marketing expense' so the attorney can earn a whole bunch more money later.

It reminds of the racists in Mississippi who were killing and assaulting African Americans and beating the state cases but when the feds started taking the cases many were convicted

Keep in mind that the grand jury that is meeting is at the state level. The state of Florida has appointed State Attorney Angela B. Corey to lead the prosecution. She is well known as Florida's leading prosecutor in murder cases with a very successful track record for convictions.
The federal charges in this case will focus on if bias has occurred. The Martian family attorney and federal officials have already stated that a bias case would be hard to prove.
Assuming a proper investigation has taken place, I am willing to accept the results of the grand jury indictment and then (if proceeding) the jury results from a trial.
The problem in this case so far is that the local Sanford police totally failed to carry out a proper investigation or do their jobs, and the local prosecutor failed entirely also. This is why the police chief and local prosecutor have been removed from their jobs.
