very strange isn't it? A while back one of Frothy's bum-chums was caught - as a mod - red-handed changing (not just deleting) posts. He was phuqued off post haste. It sure helps with the BS and the multiple aliases (i.e., Swine Flu posting to the defend Frothy).
 
buddy, thanks for the offer and your kind comparison, but I worked really long enough in this industry, professionally and working my own accounts, to clearly tell that your trading related posts are utter bs and are a testimony to your complete lack of understanding of how markets really operate. On my ignore list, which is rather rare. I seriously wished people of your caliber will even be banned from accessing the internet in the future.

I wonder if factoring the VIX into your algos would help?

IE - lower VIX = longer trends, higher VIX = shorter trends.

This is what I do. Higher volatlility means I set lower targets and shorter time periods.

What is so hilariously funny is that if you read the entire link Equaltoothlessizer posted you will understand the problem was a data issue. The reason the owner, Dennis Globa later apologized was that the EXACT problem they denied was what they fixed and solved the problem. Marina called me incompetent and it was the problem I pointed out to them that eventually solved the issue. It was a cache error.

I was a logic professor both in the continuing education department of Ohio State and corporately.

I currently still tinker at being software developer and hold a Master degree and hopefully I can find time to finish the PhD.

I never said I was "almost" a Nobel Prize" winner. My research was evaluated and submitted in 2006 by an economic group in Zürich. Far stretch from the statement made but for idiots like toothless, idiot that can't trade, it means the same.

What "more than one market variable" shall we use?


A shown by some posts, the systems of some people are not neutrally biased. As you see proflogic's system is neutrally biased. there is a definite requirement to be neutrally biased and to define all system components from a neutrally biased viewpoint.
