thats so absolutely not true, I trade a trend model on US stocks successfully for over 3 years now. A little secret (but only for you, and only if you sign up for my "newsletter" ;-) -> There are stocks that exhibit trending properties in a strong fashion than other stocks that rather mean revert.

Prof logic, I'm not trying to take sides, however one item I can't figure out is why your 'head hurts' when you try to understand hershey, yet then you say with certainty that you and jack don't trade alike. How would you know?

Surf, however, was banned by the guy upstairs. As such, new registered username by him (and there are several per day it seems) are also banned. That is the policy.

Thinking that some markets trend and others are mean reverting is a classic mistake of curve fitting. It's really the most basic one you can make.
