Probably it would be quicker to post a list and those who wish can get the profiles directly minus my personal context and our common interests.

Trend following research is the topic here and most experts do NOT follow trends. For whatever reason, I am drawn to parasitic traders who front run and are "pushed" by the "trend followers". The distinction is best explained by considering "trend monitoring and analysis" instead.

Fortunately, I have kept files of notes.

From your posting record, I am having difficulty fathoming why any input from me would be of any value. Are you looking for writing materials?
 
I have posted the link to the turtle rules, written by Curtis Faith. People can simply click on the link, read the rules and judge for themselves.

Those who after reading the pdf believe the nonsense you spout can buy your book and films and $3k course (!). After all, a fool and his money are soon parted... :D

Dunno, he has never tried to sell anything directly on this site. All of his info is in the public domain, coding exists for all of his indicators free of charge.

But I understand Baron, the bottom line is that this is a business, and Covel is paying money to sell his snak.....uh, I mean his research here.

Judge him after purchasing your 'research'? But he's not selling anything, he's provided the rules for free! So what's there to judge? He's not taking any money from anyone!

Obviously you see him as a threat to your business otherwise why the continued attacks disguised as 'research'?

However, there's no need for you to be scared. The reality is that there are plenty of mugs out there, who despite the availability of the rules for free, will still purchase your $3k course.
 
Whoa, what a self indictment of traders! This thread is starting to sound more like a rallying cry of the Peoples Socialist Worker's Party instead of capitalism loving financial traders.

Do you truly believe that a list of rules is all there is to the 'Turtle Story?

Faith's book is decent, no question about it. However, its only one man's perspective on the turtles, trend following, trading. Whereas, Covel researched and interviewed most all of the turtles not to mention multiple billion dollar hedge fund managers for his books and research articles. Get the whole picture or just one perspective for your trading? That's your choice--personally, I bought both author's books.

As you know, I HATE TREND FOLLOWING. Covel and I disagree vehemenetly on this point--- but we maintain civil discourse and exchange ideas. do I think Trend Following has something to offer to all traders? Yes, of course.

Why the hate over Covel's selling stuff? BIG DEAL! Only an anti capitalist would begrudge someone for freely transacting in the free market. Unless, of course, there is an underlying, unknown factor. Covel provides INFORMATION, much for free on his blog or super cheaply in the books. why the hate?

It's time to stop the whining and get this thread back on track.

I don't get it......

Which reminds me, shouldn't you be selling the remainder of your collection of rare and coveted Madoff underwear etched with skid marks by the great man himself? I understand that all the standard authenticity papers are included, making this a risk-free investment in Wall Street must-have memorabilia.

My book 'The Complete TurtleTrader' has the Turtle rules in it. Last I checked that book sells for $11.55. People should read the link you are posting and that book and draw their conclusions. What they will find out in my book...is that 'rules' alone are not the ticket. The best example of that is Faith himself. Why do you not want people to know that? And why are you so fixated on this particular guy whose last firm was shut down by the government? My research and teachings actually focus on trend trading and trend traders that are wildly successful unrelated to the Turtles. One of my new books coming up features 11 trend following traders and their lessons. They are not affiliated with Dennis.
