Trading Times for S&P 500 Tuesday-Friday

Quote from wally_:

Two of them are close to my standard times: 10:30 and 11:30, 9:50 is close to the first half an hour close, so they look pretty convincingly. We'll see what happens...

Thanks for posting.

Maybe I misunderstood, do you wait for your setup at the same times every day ? If yes, how many of standard times you are watching?
Thanks,
Walter

I watch 10:00, 10:30, 11:30, 12:45, 13:30, 14:15, but most closely 10:30 and 11:30, 12:45 and 14:15. I am not necessarilly looking for setups at these particular times, but it's good to know how the market behaves at these points, and if I see some good setup then, I will obviously take it.

Except that missed it by a few seconds literally, and I am pissed. I wanted to go long 2-3 minutes after 9:50 on a pullback to the pivot, but the market moved way too fast then and I refused to chase it. There were other reasons to go long then too, but that's just a matter of my personal technical inclinations. My entry was to be at 954.5, 3-5 quick points possible easily.

9:50 was a good TT, price closed above MA and CCI divergence was completed too by 9:54est.
Note that MA's never came together and another TT at 10:30 gave another chance to join this trend.
Trading Times idea is to be able to be done by noon . If needed TT can be calculated after opening for an afternoon also . If your goal is a stress free trading, this TTmethod is the way to go.

TT for Thursday are 9:50,10:35,11:00 11:25est.
It looks like a chop fest for tomorrow. Those of you, who are interested in participating in my yahoo group, send me an email or pm.

Today was a good day for those who are using TT . All today's TT marked tradeable setups right on time . I received e mails with suggestions on improving our MA and CCI signals . I will try to include those in next week tread. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to pm or email them to me.
Thanks,
Walter

9:50 is always a good time. get real. :-/

Yet another attempt at showing your superior intelligence? If 9:50 were always good you would not be posting your lame cracks here and you could afford an island too.

Walther,

what time frames do you mean when talking about MAs and their crossings?

I agree that the other times could have been played as pullbacks, but their potential seemed limited to me compared to playing the pivot rebound ca 9:50.

The 10:30 pullback was close to R2 which was not even reached. The last two times could have been played as a rebound off of the R1 level and the 38% FR, but you would have to be careful because the support at R1 eventually failed. There was little strength in these two rebounds anyway.

10:30 gave you a chance to join the trend alright...joint it right at the TOP. (dam near) and why not 10:23 or 10:10 or even 10:13. (pick any #):-/

also, 9:50 is a well known pivot point..big deal.

and what happened to 11:00 AND 11:25?? huh? there was a real chance to get caught in the chop.

nice calls. your gonna have to do better than that. your seeing thing that arent there.:-/
