Hi guy,
I am not sure if this topic is comfortable or appropriate to discuss about to majority trader, but i just want to put it out there for those that feel relevant to discuss, mainly because i thought there is a relationship between the two , and frankly i had suffered occasionally before when under heavy stress on psychology when stuck in a bad trade. I think the stress will build up over time, and once trader reach certain older age, it can do serious damage to male trader bedroom performance. Luckily i learned certain technique to neutralize this ED issue, otherwise i think the trading stress can cause serious negative effect on me with erectile issue. For those who feel that trading stress indeed will affect you seriously down the road in the future as a trader based on the stress level you are in now, and kind of need some guide on how to 100% neutralize the trading stress negative effect on erectile issue from the technique that i learned before (without having to rely on medication like Viagra, etc), i can share further down the road on this thread.
Many years ago I have read a research about testosterone drops in men after major disappointment, loss, and spikes after major success and wins
They measured testosterone level of the professional and amateurs football players before and after the games
The athletes in winning team consistently indicated spikes in testosterone levels , while athletes in loosing teams, consistently showed drops in testosterone levels which results in apathy, loss of libido, distress etc etc
The science explained it this way: in competition for the food, mate and status primordial man fought each other. The nature developed the testosterone drop in order to spare the life of the weaker male, the looser, if he continued fighting he would be killed.
What also was found is how fast the looser was able to regain the original testosterone's level. Among the athletes for amateurs it may took weeks if not month, for professional it took days to recover and be ready to play again.
So the high testosterone level is a must, but fast recovery is another important factor.
IMHO there are no successful timid players... One should have balls, and the bigger the better. On the other side in our game not only the balls matter, but theirs proper suspension (otherwise market will rip them away anyway).
How strong is one's ball suspension? It directly correlates to one's trading method...
