TRADING Records for 20 oldtimers will clean this place up a lot!

Long term, once Positions get to break even stops, they stay there for life or readjusted to next contract month as most of what I trade is Futures.

I bought dividend stocks in 2009 and sold 100% of them last year, when next door neighbor got equity loan on his house to trade Bitcoin. All backtesting done, for long term shows me wide stops allows for large gains long term.

I did weekend with Seykota and others 15 years? ago in Tahoe. Was interesting as I recall, "Tribe".

Great! Glad you did all that.

StairSteps was designed for the stock market trends, long term trends .... like QQQ and so on.

There is one other guy you might know about ................ Jack Schannep ............ he is like Seykota and Bassetti and runs long-term trends. He is the Founder/owner of the Dow Theory gang - one of them as there are 3 in total I believe.

I believe Jack uses the same type of Stops at 5% as Bassetti but I am not sure of this.

Wide stops esp. in semi parabolic moves develops one otehr worthwhile feature - kahunas .......... as the price rises and rises and rises to yuge height in just one wave and thenstrts coming down, most cannot handle giving back all the earned gains. I have discovered this to be a key factor instrenght developing because I don't let it bother me that I just gave back 100k.

When the retracement of the wave is over I raise the STOP and bang it some more with another entry.

TREND MECHANICS = sheer poetry to me

Hey its quite possible taht ther eis a whjole lot of truth in what Overnight says is bound to happen to me due to my reckless behavior amongst other negative traits .......... there is a song that describes exaclty this that will happen to me as per Overnight

Lyrics are perfect too

I'm ready for both Life or Death.

Thanks MG.

This ought to surprise you nicely ....

Your thread on Support and Resistance will benefit greatly from the book we just talked about that was mentioned by Handle123 and then myslef in that there are some voluminous chapters on support and resistance. The stuff is soooo good it knocked me to the floor many a time. Absolutely riveting when I was studying it for the first and 2nd and 3rd times/

My my my oh my sooooo much fun

What a book!

And nowadays the library will loan it out for free. Give it a shot

Cool, I’m envious. He stopped hosting them when I shifted from passive investing into active trading.

“Everyone gets their needs met in the market,..” I don’t remember if that’s the full quote but his trading tribe processes were intriguing.

Yet your enduring thirst for external validation has not

Its a ravenous thirst for external validation from scammers and jammers galore. My thirst for love from such a group knows no bounds. And esp. for theones who will not go along with me and provide trading records, my thirst is insatiable

:D:D:D:D
