Cuba is the right place for US citizens who want to break the law and become criminals. The US prohibits it's citizens from going there - so that's it (as a US citizen) unless you consider yourself a wannabe criminal.

I went there in the mid 90's and it was great. The food was exceptionally terrible because of the US embargo among other things, I guess. The best thing I got there was some fish and some pork chops which were excellent. Vegetables were totally overcooked and salted like they were being conserved for the next millenium.

A steak at fancy reastaurants like at the Melia Cohiba hotel and the neighbouring hotel (forgot the name) in Havana was a sorry affair. Havana cafe was a really cool place (located on the side of Melia Cohiba).

I actually like the pizza there better than here in the US. It's different, but after a while it grows on you.
 
I'm rural American and desperate for churascaria with decent meat, the beach, and some latin jazz - before winter squeezes me. And brasilieras too. :D

Booked Varig in November even though its 20% more than American from JFK. They were always good to me in the past I remember. :)

What a prick!! I dont remember posting that, but Im sure I was joking :D!

And no, we dont have 100%/year interest rates and no they dont record our phone conversations more than any other country.
