I don't understand how people can be so disrespectful to the Market. Thirty minutes? Unless he's Brainiac or Data, its hard to imagine success but again miracles in this odd Market happen daily!

Ignore these clowns here at ET. All the haters probably not making any money. They think it takes years upon years to make money. I know two people recently laid off work and day trading and doing just fine.
Keep doing your thing and monitor your risk. You know what you can and can not do sooner or later.
Looking through your post history, it seems like you have been trying to learn for 6 years. What are they doing differently than you who has been at this for so long?

Just because I have been inconsistently profitable for 6 years, does not mean someone else would take that long. It may take someone 2 months or even 2 days, all depends on the person and their learning and time commitment. My time commitment was not always consistent.
Last summer, we took a family cruise. Since I bought the internet package, I was able to trade/scalp while on the cruise. Like an hour in the morning before the day's activities. At one point, I made enough money to cover the entire's cruise cost for myself. Not my entire family.
So, it's possible. It's slow but not so slow that you can't daytrade on the connection.

I don't really care what his example was, just giving him my advice on what he should do. I think he will get killed on spread + timing when buying options with a 30min window. miscommunication, all good man.

Just try it yourself. No reason to ask here. You will receive tons of arguments why you can't success in that. So psychologically it won't help you and can stop you, because you can start doubt in what you think can work.
You think something works, stick to it, to that 1 thing, don't jump around other "technics", "strategies", "tools", try to do that 1 thing best you can.
Do you have a chance ? Of course, why not, there are such stories. Is it very probable ? Not really, but you shouldn't focus on that part.
You wrote about forum of professionals. I guarantee you that more then 50% ppl here didn't make it and they still can't, so you will hear why you can't too. There is also group of those who made it and scold you, because they now how hard it was and just saw too many failures. But let's give the man a chance.
With a certain strategy, you could do that. But you can't learn it in 1 month. 6-18 months at the very least.

Again, you are picky on my words. I have 6 hours a day even to trade, hell I'm even doing a computer science degree while onboard so I have enough time for that as well... What I meant by 30 min is that people though im 24/7 busy, so I said that I have at least 30 min.
I'm not disrespectful to the market, and I'm not new to it, I've been investing for long time and always had interest to it. People like you are so arrogant, and disparaging others, thinking only you have the full right to trade the market, you are the smartest and others are stupid.
You don't own the market, and if it took you 10 years to learn to trade, doesn't mean others can't do it on the shorter term.
Again, I don't understand the hostility, I want to trade the markets, and I understand the risks, and I'm willing to take those risks - I don't need people like you lecturing me about it - just answer the damn question or don't reply to this post.
