TradeStation Securities announces new commissions

Why aren't chart scanner and workspace assistant available? I have TS2k and the lack of those items are what has kept me from going to TS6. How can you do multiple studies without these? That's my promary use of the product. Are there any plans to add it? I'd like to not have to deal with data maintenance, but not at the expense of losing these features.

I've seen you post answers to other peoples questions on this thread since I asked the above question.

How 'bout an answer for me?

"In a future release of TradeStation, the Account Manager will fully reflect any trade-related charges, such as commissions, on a per trade basis in the Statistics Tab of the Account Manager. The only charges that will appear purely on the month-end statement are exchange/data fees and debit interest expense. "

any idea when? Are you talking about V7?

Sorry Cashonly for the delay. I'm on the road - in New York for our seminar/workshop this weeked. Yes, this functionality is important to our customers and we are planning on adding it back in a future release.

The next major release is release 7. I don't have a date for this release yet. As soon as we are closer, I will let the group know.

Thanks,

Janette Perez: I do not think anyone expects tradestation securities to compete with IB commission rates, but given the good name that tradestation platform has earned , I think you folks could add alot of emini futures volume if you can get your rt commissions under $6.00. Just my 2 cents.

How can a retail firm, like Tradestation, be able to charge less than a proprietary firm, like Echotrade?

easy........they don't

1.2 cents a share is A LOT more than what I pay or anyone in my offices pays.

I pay much less than a penny and ISLAND and INCA pay me to trade there more often than I pay for an ECN fee.

Can someone tell me how tradestation executes NASD e-mini AND S&P e-mini trades. Does the platform has straight through order processing with the CME computers? Or is some other method employed?

Can execution of e-mini trades be fully automated or is a manual confirmation required?

Thanks in advance,
