The question is regarding Per share vs ticket charges benefit.
and as far Benjamin Capital they are a client and offer a sound platform. I did the math and it doesn't add up I even found another one that is no fee. Look at my other post in all fairness I eluded to the Trade Portal platform which is the same software. They have no charges for their Island. No way affiliated with T P.
I myself am just curious as to why the per share thing is such a key point; if it is -as a trader I want to know how I benefit. Some points were valid and well taken. Thanks.
I know that TS has a great platform- one of the best but this is new territory. Keep up the post. I have learned from your posts in the past and this board just keeps getting better. I recommend this board on my site because of that.
The thing I like about IB is that I can prepare tickets and then transmit them as a stock moves past my buy or sell point.
I looked at the demo on the web site, and it seems that you have the choice of either transmitting an order or writing one ticket at a time.

Yes - though "heaps" might be stretching it - but it's nowhere near as easy as it should be. I suspect that most new users will find it impossible in the current set-up.
The next major upgrade should address this and similar issues.

Yeah, that about covers it - though if you set up whatever signals to trigger whatever "heap" and hit "ignore" when the confirmation windows come up, the orders will line up in the account manager, and can be executed from there.
I don't trade that way, but it's an alternative. As I said, it really would be better if they just improved things a tad. I've been able to set up some signals that work for me (with hinks) based on drawing tools and price levels, but a truly integrated feature set (tool-activated orders as well as pre-"parked" orders as well as fast order entry) would be much preferable - supposedly such (not necessarily all) will be included in the upcoming upgrade.
