Our economy need suffering children; who else would work in sweatshops to make cheap goods for us? That's why there are still suffering children. It's our choice.
Kind of like how the "War on Drugs" means that Afghanistan is still the #1 drug producing country in the world, year after year after year; it's our choice! The WSJ had an article about this a few weeks ago.

Einstein discovered by analysis that light is peculiar to our universe and doesn't seem to conform to universal laws; all conforms to light, making things relative to light (hence the "relativity" of this theory, which is no longer a theory, but a law). Although the speed of light is known to us as 186,000 m/sec, in reality, the actual speed is instantaneous, but the rate of time's passage varies (is "relative") to make it appear that light always moves at this speed.
Light is a form of radiation which can be measured by temperature as an indication of its speed.
Physicists agree on the temperature at which the basic building blocks of matter will separate out of a super-hot mixture such as the Big Bang. This temperature, which some call the point of quark confinement or decoupling, is also a measure of the speed of light, since temperature is one of the ways to measure radiation.
The background temperature (CBR) of the universe currently is known to be around 3 degrees K, which is another speed for the early-universe light's emission, which is much lower (slower) than when it was emitted.
Since the speed of light cannot change (it's a law), the rate of time's passage must be different.
If you do the math (I have), you'll see that the rate of time's passage for an observer present at the beginning of the universe -- until now -- would be about 6 days.
From our perspective, looking backwards, there has been about 14 billion years.
The two numbers are in agreement and agree with the bible.
Also, if you were an intelligent ray of light, all events in our universe would appear to happen at the same time, as time would not exist for you. You would see the beginning and end of time as the same set of events with no separation in time.
The bible says that God is light, who "sees the end from the beginning."

What is there to argue? anyone who thinks relativity is a law is obviously prepared to twist science to their own ends... relativity is not a law, there are still many things it does not explain.. but lets not let that little inconvenience stop you from pushing your little pagan myth based religion... ps: how many man/gods were born on 25th of december of a virgin and died only to be resurrected again?.... quite a few long before Jesus... the whole religion is a sad pagan rip off without the accompanying mystery tradition and esoteric knowledge

Which is it? -- you believe scripture or you don't? If so, then you have a problem. If not, you can't quote it against someone, even to point to their hypocrisy; because you can't point to hypocrisy this way without exposing your own.
