There is a saying something like this...when a man starts telling me how religious he is, I check to make sure that I still have my wallet...
Quote from volente_00:
This thread is almost as good as the pnl trade, but instead of trying to boost your fragile ego by bragging about how much you made, we have a bunch of iconoclastic mental masturbators beating their chest and waisting energy that could be better put toward causes such as saving suffering children.
Cute.Quote from trader28:
Actually both arguments are flawed, quantum physics is a perfect example, time flows backwards, effects precede causes, non local influence... you can only settle this debate one way... the only way anyone has ever settled it to their satisfaction... you must train the mind to perceive beyond the illusion of matter and see the substance of existence... in short... meditate grasshoppers
'Obviously' those questions were too much for them or maybe they are not trading anymore because they went broke and quit or perhaps they have found better use for their time than to give attention to cooldude the troll.Quote from cooldude:
To all those "deeply religious", who "know the character of God" and "see Him everywhere", why are my 'dumb and ignorant' questions not answered?
Especially to KinSon, Traderfox and Enfinity:
Quote from cooldude:
...
Again
-Is your God my Maker?
-Is your God infinitely Merciful?
-Is your God infinite Love?
-Is your God Perfect?
Oh dear... another sad 6 minute egg theory... 500 years ago you'd be telling us the earth is at the centre of the universe and that Copernicus fellow is derangedQuote from trainr:

A little science for you.
(Warning: gets very complex and may hurt the brain for those unprepared to consider.)
If you do the math (I have), you'll see that the rate of time's passage for an observer present at the beginning of the universe -- until now -- would be about 6 days.
From our perspective, looking backwards, there has been about 14 billion years.
The two numbers are in agreement and agree with the bible.
The bible says that God is light, who "sees the end from the beginning."
I see you have no argument against the logic and science of my post, else you would have presented it.Quote from trader28:

What is there to argue? anyone who thinks relativity is a law is obviously prepared to twist science to their own ends... relativity is not a law, there are still many things it does not explain.. but lets not let that little inconvenience stop you from pushing your little pagan myth based religion... ps: how many man/gods were born on 25th of december of a virgin and died only to be resurrected again?.... quite a few long before Jesus... the whole religion is a sad pagan rip off without the accompanying mystery tradition and esoteric knowledgeQuote from trainr:

But, hey, if can't demolish an argument, make fun of it, eh?
He wasn't telling him what all must do to enter heaven. He was telling him what would give him "treasure in heaven."Quote from vhehn:
jesus may have been those things you mentioned but the bible isnt. who would have a problem if christians actually followed jesus advice:
Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?" "Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments." "Which ones?" the man inquired. Jesus replied, " `Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,' and `love your neighbor as yourself.'" "All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?" Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." "
