Did some analysis and found something interesting. The 13 and 34 above are Fibonacci numbers. (1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55). The two decimal points: 0.66 and 0.34 are close to the 62/38 Fibonacci ratio. Dividing 13 by 34 gives you 0.382 (13/24 = 0.382).
That's even stranger.

Fib patterns are everywhere. Frost & Prechter (Elliot Wave Principal) do a decent job laying out the basic's. Fib's seem to be panned on ET, but if you read threads / journals many traders use them to identify useful S/R levels. Ratio analysis is the meat and potatoes of it. The intuitive brain is best at spotting them.

I got up early. I was bored and did some more analysis. I found that it's not just the number 13 and 34 that produce 27. It's found by diving each alternative number in the sequence by the total of the two. I've attached a screenshot of the excel file below.

Things to note:
- Fibanncci numbers are made by adding sequencial number starting with 1 1 2(1+1) 3(2+1) 5(3+2)...
- The fibonacci ratio is found by dividng the higher sequencial number. The higher the closer it is.
- As you get to the higher fib numbers in the series, it converges to 27.639 and 72.361.
- The numbers in the decimal pts: 0.639 and 0.361 are very close to the 62/38 Fibonacci ratio.
- Note that the two alternative number 5 and 8 gives you 27.272727 and 72.7272727.
- Note the page number when this discovery was found: page 8.

So why 27? According to these websites, 27 is considered to be a divine number:
