Did some analysis and found something interesting. The 13 and 34 above are Fibonacci numbers. (1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55). The two decimal points: 0.66 and 0.34 are close to the 62/38 Fibonacci ratio. Dividing 13 by 34 gives you 0.382 (13/24 = 0.382).Quote from jinxu:

hmm. that's strange.
Fib patterns are everywhere. Frost & Prechter (Elliot Wave Principal) do a decent job laying out the basic's. Fib's seem to be panned on ET, but if you read threads / journals many traders use them to identify useful S/R levels. Ratio analysis is the meat and potatoes of it. I got up early. I was bored and did some more analysis. I found that it's not just the number 13 and 34 that produce 27. It's found by diving each alternative number in the sequence by the total of the two. I've attached a screenshot of the excel file below.Quote from jinxu:
