Trader P/L 2014

-52 net

Alright! I've come to my senses. I used to have a trading plan. I just realized that I no longer have a trading plan. The last two months or so, I threw that plan out the window and have been running around like a headless chicken. That headless chicken also had a keyboard attached to my trading account.

There is no point to me chewing up my account trading everyday without a plan and the confidence to follow it. I am suspending my live trading. I will not be posting here while I develop my plan and paper trade it until I feel confident to go live.

All you other guys, keep posting win or lose! I'll be back.

Light trading, thunderstorms and lightning forcing me to turn systems off for the vast majoring of the opening session which is the time I trade the most.

+$157.50

First 4 trades all losers and was down about $360.
Fought back to +$157.50
Took 12 trades, though, which is $96 in commissions, so another tough day for more or less b/e

Well, went to see Godzilla last night with my kids and went to bed much later than usual so this morning I decided to stay in bed like a vegetable, by the time I dragged by butt out of bed the prime hours were nearly gone and had not done my market homework so all I got to show is the close of a small swing I had.

-$82.50

First day in, i think, 8 sessions where i'm down before commissions with a negative gross.
6 trades, so it's actually more like -$130 or so,

Here's my stats since around the time I began posting in here.
This spreadsheet also takes into account a seperate strategy, but it only makes a tiny difference to my actual numbers that I post here, and so these stats shoould accurately reflect my trading.

This is 18 trading sessions. 200 odd trades or so.
Not setting the world on fire, although it's actually a vast improvment on my typical results when trading other instruments such as forex.

I'm in profit but no by much. I don't know what conclusions, if any, can be drawn from this small sample of stats.
