i too would prefer this thread live up to P/L threads of years ago. (blotter posts without the bullshit)

but also one cannot deny there seems to be a more green group around at the same time. i would suggest some of you rereading the old threads. ...take a look sometime and thanks for this to "moneywalks"

i trade vol through many different approaches, variations and products. unfortunately i do not really want to share how i do it or make calls. the reason i post my share here is to show that trading can work.....plus this is "trader p/l !!! in other threads i may talk about some of the ways i trade; but here i prefer to keep it real.

Atticus is the reason why I stopped posting on this Journal right after 3-4 days I had started!

With a tone of arrogance he started to say that I was on a paper-trading account. If I had the ignore button, I'd press it!

Relax, atticus thinks most people here are paper trading if there's consistent profits shown...

woudn't post this usually, but everyone wants more consistent posts...well here u go.

again, this could have been a decent day. i got tagged a bit in PPG this morning short as the GGC exchange offer was completed...PPG should have trade down about 10% w/o the division it sold to GGC. this is probably one of the most confusing deals i've seen anyway, so right or wrong, no one really cared. sometimes you can be right/wrong and lose/make money.

i had some hlf 40 puts that i bot before the ackman/icahn cage match. looks like it was the right idea, but i only had 1/4 of the postiion left.

didn't trade to well, but at least its green.
