Typical gap & flat day for the indexes. Opened higher, squirted straight up off the bell and strung sideways in a narrow range for hours. Many times these type of sessions tip over in the final hour of trading, especially when it's extended in one direction for several days.
Same story with ER: early buy signals blew off in the spikes, sell signals didn't work until the end. Missed a -1pt stop on fumbled order change that turned into a -2pt loss. Nice timing on my part to boot the drop & drag... right into a buy program.
All week long I've watched guys making more money in NQ than I am in ER. Averaging +3pts ER per day in this account, but it's a lot harder now than ever was before. Too much like work.
Last two sessions of the week are option expiry events. They are usually stellar or terrible to trade... one or the other. We'll see how it all unfolds soon enough.
