Am curious to hear from other ES traders out there on how today was specifically. Personally I felt this was one of the toughest days this year. crazy action.

I trade 1-3 contracts and on a 1 lot I was in the hole $1,000 by 9:45 am, then stayed negative until lunch when I was able to get my mojo working and close out with an average day.

felt like manual physical labor, though.

No trades today. This was by far the worst week ever, Thursday being the worst one day loss ever.

Once again...I spent the day crawling out of a crater. Was -450 at one point.

Then, defeated, I started scalping with larger shares and after 6 quick winnersin a row, held for a maximum of 25 seconds, I ended up at -89.55

I'm very happy to have chopped my loss down that far.

I kinda had an epiphany as well. I can easily capture 0.10-0.15 moves, but I can't catch bigger moves with bigger stops. The whipsaws are way too severe.

So, for know on I will be a scalper, greedily snatching very small, more predictable moves. We'll see how it goes next week.

good way to end the week ... happy with todays trading .... didnt load up on the position but got good spreads .... now in the green for the month :) enjoy the weekend and goodluck to all
