Didn't trade while I was away on vaction (I was planning to some but didn't realize I wouldn't have an internet connection) not even a phone line, let alone high speed...

(on the bright side) Gave me time to just look at all my charts and data/price indicators and have moved my scalping to a seperate account and automated it. Also have added a countertrend indicator but I didn't get executed on it today. I included my 2 trades today in my snapshot..exited early

Got back on the 30th (tues) no trades
Wed no trades

Ps. A thanks to those who noticed I was gone as I got a few PMs and IMs wondering if I was ok.

First post in this thread.

After years of irresponsible trading that cost me a lot of cash, then few years of turning in circles without going no where, I took a year or so off trading and studying my weaknesses. I'm going to give it a serious try and let my profits run run...

I'll be trading ES three days a week full time. Good luck to all and to me!

Thursday 11/01/2007: did not trade.
Friday 11/02/2007: +77$ no blotter today!

Quote from Mike805:

What exactly will that information provide? A lot of people here (including myself) trade a prop. account with leverage, hence a days' return of 5% on a 20-1 leverage prop. account is a skewed statistic... IMO percent return is almost meaningless.

If I may comment I think the poster is still referring to the return on your money at risk.

I think you have a point that the leverage allows for a greater return over a retail account (such as myself) if successful (as i hope everyone here is),

At the end of the day though, are we all not trying to get the greatest return on our own money?
