Trader P/L 2006 Questions and Discussion

I personally found it hard to believe (not impossible) to see someone post 100-500 daily then in 1 week, goes to 20k and 50k daily.

this could be why.

I have heard of spending one's time in an unproductive manner....but this is crazy.

Is it possible that he's trading using another firm's Sterling software?
Just wondering since I find it silly for someone to purposely get into this type of detailed deception.

Not really... but THIS is:

While other firms do use Sterling, all of them are strictly <b>retail</b>. That means no prop leverage. That means 'killer supposedly traded 12 mil F shares (12 million shares X $6/share = $72,000,000 ) in one day at <b> 4-1 retail leverage.</b>

Case closed. Time to change names now, 'killer- you've been outed. No hard feelings, and I do wish you well.
 
i thought the guy really found a top notch mentor with whom he got very close and learned how to pull off those numbers...but at the same time i was wonderin' who on earth was so willin' to disclose his strategies to some1 he just got to know....because frankly there aint no way u get to progress so far so fast on your own...let's see if the guy can come clean or what. l'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

and even if he was tradin' at a prop firm who on his right mind would have give a newcomer 72mln dolllars to trade....i guess this put the matter to rest.

...well, he could claim there were multiple round trips, but it still can't possibly add up.
