TopstepTrader Combine - opposite positions in two combines

Lukas, your question has been answered 200 times: Yes, you can have 2+ accounts at the same time. No, you can't trade through "events". So your idea doesn't work...
 
Could you show me where on TopstepTrader website it states that trading through "events" in a Combine is not allowed? I can only see this rule for next stages. Anyway, their support will hopefully get back to me within reasonable time so I will relay their reply here

Good luck, finding someone to fund you, with that approach (I certainly wouldn't have done so, if I'd felt that way.)
 
Apologies if I have just revealed the truth to you. This is how the world and trading in particular looks like to me. Me against everyone else and who screws who. That's all it is. Perhaps you have never been hit hard by life like I have, all within the law which has nothing to do with justice, by the way

That's ok - I accept that that's your perspective and I don't doubt that you have reasons for it, and I mean no disrespect.

Just as I'm sure you accept that my perspective, for whatever reasons, is different.

Personally, if I wanted TST to fund me, I'd be directing my efforts and energy into being able to trade safely and profitably within their intended parameters (as plenty of other people have managed to do), rather than into trying to find loophole-ways round their system. It's just a different approach.
 
Fair enough. However, there is inherent risk with my strategy - imagine a short move one way, triggering my daily stop loss in one account, and then reversal and a move the other way triggering daily stop in the other account. It is not a guaranteed method of passing the Combine
 
Lukas, even if your strategy worked, in FTP you can have only one account, so you either can't pass the FTP or eventually you would lose in real money.

Bottom line is: To make it with them, you DO have to be able to trade and passing the Combine in anyway is not guarantee of future real money success.

TL;DR: You can cheat the Combine or not, your topic is moot...
 
Quite frequently you got a spike the eromg way, SL hit and slipped, then a quick move the other other SL hit.

There is no way to cheat the market.
