And how do they know the tanker had not been hacked? I heard one of the Navy brass today and he essentially said they had no evidence that there had been hacking. That is different from no hacking. They have no evidence the Russians hacked the DNC but they seem pretty certain about that.
I just read the linked article and it is a joke. The Navy brass clearly have no idea what has happened. They are ordering a "review." Time for some heads to roll. Either they got hacked and still don't even know it, or they were guilty of repeated bouts of negligent seamanship. This is on the heels of the "Fat Leonard" scandal, where officers were selling out secret details of port visits to some scumbag contractor in exchange for whores. This speaks of a fleetwide problem with morale and discipline. Given 8 years of Obama-mandated social engineering, who could blame them but we are still pretending to field a navy, so this has to be sorted out.
