Took out a loan to transition to full-time trading. 24 years old.

I don't know how to put people on ignore. I just ignore some posts on my thread if I don't seem to find it helpful.

The resistance play I was referring to was before the drops happened. I think I started calling for a big drop starting two days ago. Today, all signs led me to believe it was due for a drop. It seemed so obvious, which scared me a lot. I mention all of this in today's video as well, just in case you think im b'sing. I keep adding short positions on the small pullbacks but the chart just wont fall, to the point I said "maybe, just maybe it may go up higher". There was some unusual "resistance" that was stopping it from falling... of course before the big fall which took out any strengths bulls had it left in them.
A lot of the things I say makes sense to me but throughout my life I've noticed I'm not the best at explaining my thought in words to others. Watch my video!! Than you'll know exactly what I mean when I say resistance.
 
As a beginner, I'm very lucky to have come across this thread..thanks to all those who gave advice (hopefully reducing some of my learning curve :)). From other threads, I've come to realize it'll take 5+ years to be profitable IF I'm lucky. I couldn't do what you're doing wabu but best of luck. Now I've got about 40 hours to continue reading about "Trading the Ross Hook" (no idea if the book is good but you gotta start somewhere) before work on Monday..well 38 hours since I'll probably shoot hoops tmr for an hour or two :p

Wowowow... saw the chart pre-market and told myself and my video that today it could really go either way.. should wait until the market opens to see how chart moves and play off of that. Did not listen to myself as always and tried a little trading starting pre-market. Deep in red. Market opened. Deeper in red. Bleeding all over myself. At mercy of the market. Saw a little bounce opportunity. Honestly my last hope otherwise i'll have to exit with a -20% day. Bounce actually happened. So lucky. I traded too big of a size for my account and did not do proper risk management. Was super lucky today to dodge a bullet. Happy I am in the green. One thing was I saw how trading 3 contracts felt like and...wow. It felt amazing. Risky but amazing. Can't wait until tomorrow.

Started the day off great, entering a great short position. Exited way too early and didn't make nearly enough of what I could safely make. Felt confident and maybe that brought in arrogance. During the day tried to play the chart, entering and exiting many times. I think greed took over rational decision making and instead of waiting for good entry points and exit points, I was chasing after the movement and ended up giving up all my gains and more... The positive today was due to the drop I was foreseeing but seeing how the chart is playing now, I think a significant amount of luck was involved as well. Even though I made a good return percentage wise, not happy at all about today's trading. Going to go back after work to study today's trading... I want to think of it as more of a training day using 3 positions. Glad to be in positive today.

Started the day great. No action in the beginning and after the oil report, played off the chart movements and was up 8%. Not satisfied(?) i went in for what I thought was the top of a reversal. Didn't follow personal rules blah blah blah... thought i'd gamble a little because I had a strong conviction it wouldn't go any further higher per my view from google finance. Well, the day ended horribly. My losses are way too big.
Until yesterday, i was up +75%. I thought it'd be great to end +100% by end of this week, which meant I doubled my capital in a month. That's crazy. Well, greed got the best of me and now I'm up +30%.........
Hm........... Lots of things on my mind right now. Need some time to let today's trading sink in.
