Your so called "plan" is arbitrary, hopelessly naive and unconstitutional. We don't don't have a gun problem, we have a repeat offender/violent criminal problem. Not unlike our deficit issue. We don't have have a revenue problem we have a congressional spending problem.

I agree.
My plan is unconstitutional.
It's also unconstitutional to tell someone they can't possess a shoulder fired missile launcher.
This is why we need to change the parameters via the Constitution as to what is allowed and is not allowed.
These issues were not even imagined when the document was drawn up.

Our country is divided by irreconcilable differences. In fact we're probably as divided now as we were in the early 1860's. The incompetent assholes in Washington can't even pass a budget let alone a balanced one. You really think a constitutional amendment,with nothing of substance but arbitrary limits at that, is a realistic option?

Not to even mention that laws are nothing but ink on paper. The criminals are ALREADY ignoring the 22,000 gun laws we have now. More Arbitrary limits will affect absolutely NO ONE but the responsible law abiding citizens which aren't even causing a problem to begin with. You think the career criminals are going to limit themselves to how many firearms they own? If you really think so why not add a constitutional amendment limiting the number of murders someone can commit? That'll shut down the gang bangers and mass murderers, won't it?

I'm always amazed that these guys can't spot the disconnect. I figure they are just lost idealists; they really can't fathom that the criminal underclass operates with impunity.
