My name a Murat and I third biggest option trader in Kazakhstan. My older sister is famous prostitute in Almaty and many year ago she give me money to buy smuggled copies of Hull, Cottle and Natenburg. I make nice profit from trading but did bad mistake when I lost everything with James Cordier. My other sister, also prostitute, give me money to start again and now I trade volatility for my half-brother's family office.

Your perspective is punting from a long vol perspective...If that works for you,and it very well may,keep on punting...No need to delta hedge..

Are you saying you trade in the same manner when short vol??

And dont confuse trading directionally with trading vol...

So what's the point of profiting from volatility when you are going to neutralize the very element that plays a part in determining volatility? It's like trying to speedskate with dull blades.
