The war in Iraq is certainly no stupider than America's involvement in WWll, Korea and Vietnam. Not as deadly or expensive either.

I'm very much an isolationist so the Bush doctrine which is Democrat in nature (i.e. Wilson, FDR and LBJ) is the antithesis of how I view government. Liberals fail to grasp how big government domestically breeds international militaristic intervention. Think Blair.

Hillary, Obama, Edwards and Dean are ALL on the record opposing Iran's development of nukes. Liberal Dem's and Bush are BOTH up Israel's ass.

At the end of the day the economy is MUCH MORE important than Iraq. Ask China how many millions they'd sacrifice to live like we do. IOW's if someone asked would you exchange 4,000 combat deaths for Dow 7000, 14% bond yields and 11% unemployment the answer would be a resounding no.

Since I'm an isolationist I don't give two fucks about "how the world views us." The same folks who allegedly hate us because of Iraq were sucking our dick when 500,000 Americans were dying in Europe. We should have sat that one out also.

If Iraq had reached a speedy conclusion you'd be hearing Congressional Dem's who voted for war bragging about their support on the campaign trail. Alas random outcomes.....

Liberalism is dying....just like it's cousins...Nazism, Socialism, Communism....only the Democratic Party of the US is the only people that don't know this....

Hillary is as close to a Nazi we have ever had running for Pres....she, as many "intelligentsia" speak from on high as to what is best for us, "the unwashed"....

Democratic party is made of three groups: aforementioned intelligentsia, Hebrews and Blacks....not being racist or anti-semetism, just pointing out facts....it is not racist to point out that the NBA is comprised mostly of very tall African American Males...

I find it amusing, tragically so, that Friedman, Klugman, Rich and most of the Jewish Senators beat up on Bush, a Christian pres for his dealings with the Islamic world....

The Hebrews have a 2000 year track record of abject failure in dealing with Muslims....LOL

I do not think he appointed incompentent people by mistake. I think it was by design to give him and Cheney more control. I think his advisors (read Dad and his friends) mis calculated the down side to such a policy. Events spun out of control and they could not fix them with their band of merrymen.

Even if GWB is a big dope - his father is not and his father is most likely running the show behind the scenes.

It was the strong dollar that sent America's manufacturing base hiking off shore.

The only method to restore domestic consumption of homemade goods is a weaker greenback.

Would you swap your appreciation in Tahoe for EUR parity? Asset values certainly reflect the dollar's decline.

FDR the worst ever, and by a country mile. He's the one that changed our method of gov't from we the people, to we the gov't.

He instituted the notion that the "security" that the country owed it's citizens was not just physical security, but economic security, which paved the way to the socialist state.

With only brief interludes, been downhill ever since.

You really need to get some mental help.....having that amount of frustration pent up is not good for your mental well being...

Just chill out and offer some basic facts in what you would have done different than Bush......not hindsight opinions....
