Yes, it does. Actually you will have a much better experience watching PH on a Mac - these Apple displays are excellent! And if you combine that with the new Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) it's like the action takes place in your living room...

I have maxed out M1 Pro 14 inch, it is a total overkill pretty much for anything. Recently bought an M2 13 inch Air basic model just for a trip, was blowns away how fast and effecient on battery it is. 8GB memory was enough to even do some emergency programming with Docker containers and JVM, which I did not expect to go well on 8GB config.

On a very rare occasion you will bump into something not running on ARM (which is M-s architecture), but it quite rare these days, the only annoyance was rebuilding my VMs. I miss that M2.. sold it after, couldn't justify to keep. Beefed up versions with more CPU/GPUs and RAM are much less battery effecient. Still great but not excellent.

Had no problems with displays. 3 different brands in different rooms, all work.

Apple's silicon is such a game changer. I bought an iMac just because of it. It's faster than my Dell Precision and makes no noise at all. It's completely silent, because it has no fans. I haven't had so much fun with a computer since I got a Sun Ultra workstation decades ago.

If you want to run multiple monitors you have to investigate what graphical processor your PC/laptop has. Using HDMI connections is better than relying on USB. If the computer has a discrete graphical processor then it comes with its own RAM and does not need the computer's RAM.

I just wanted to have one as my personal workstation and main development machine. They were state of the art, high quality build and Solaris was a great OS.

It wasn't that easy to get one as Sun didn't sell them to private individuals at that time so I invented a company just be able to order one. Yes, you can call me a geek... :)

Those programs can be run in Mac Parallels for the Windows versions.

Or another very popular option with our Mac users is signing up for our Chicago Windows VPS. You essentially get a cloud Windows server for running your trading applications, with <1ms latency to order gateways, and connect to the server from your Mac.

Thank you for speaking my language. But it looks like I’m gonna go with a PC so I can use my current platforms without any voodoo to run a windows program on a Mac.
