It's time for a new laptop. I want to hear the pros and cons of MacBooks. I bought one a few years ago so my phone, iPad, and laptop would all sync up easily. Windows was so ingrained in me that I sold it and bought a PC. That PC has just had a key break off and the part to fix it isn't available. So.....I'm now thinking about a Macbook again.
Are there platforms that don't work on MacBooks? I've been looking on some platform websites and they don't mention anything about the requirements of the computer.
I've been sporting a 13-inch screen for a few years and I really miss the larger screen when looking at charts/indicators. Does Macbook play nice with external monitors?
Assuming I stick with a PC, what are the minimum hardware options you suggest?
For context: I'm not a day trader. My trades typically last days to weeks and I don't do deep analysis every day. It's more like a few days of heavy planning and then I just check in occasionally for the rest of the week.
