Tim Morge and the well-chosen example

I firmly believe the final (and most important) question is the 3 Phds, and whether they truly exist. Repeating myself:

Below is Tim Morge’s website from 2008:
http://web.archive.org/web/20080216004820/http://www.blackthornecapital.com:80/btnewindex.html

Unless Mr. Morge got 3 Phds in the last 10 years, he is completely making up his credentials, which is grounds for dismissal in ANY FIELD. He would be fired from anywhere, on the spot.

The Web Archive, aka The Wayback Machine was Tim Morge’s fatal mistake. What I would pay to see his face when he saw his OWN WRITTEN CONTENT, which he thought was long gone, and permanently deleted...
Anybody reading these posts needs to know that I have been in contact with Cynthia Tomain and she has told me that this individual is not telling the truth that she never said Tim would not speak for IB again and that he is spreading untruths about Tim Morge. If you’ll notice in his “evidence“ he shows a screenshot of something he said to someone at MIT with no response and an email that he sent to Cynthia with no response

Dear Bam123,

I did call both Barbara Schmidt-Bailey at the CME over the phone, and asked her if they did any due diligence on Timothy Morge. Barbara said it was up to IB to do that type of due diligence, since the material would be stored at their site. I then called Cynthia Tomain, and spoke with her on the phone. She said she thought the CME had done the due diligence on this individual’s credentials. I asked Cynthia repeatedly whether there would be any more IB webinars by Timothy Morge, and she firmly said NO (she can definitely confirm that call).

I am certainly not spreading any untruths.

Unless Morge got 3 Phds in the last 10 years, he is lying about his credentials, which is grounds for dismissal in any field.

As a bonus, I did find the MIT student’s response. I guess Morge could not find a big enough market for his subscriptions at this tiny student club, and simply moved on. But not without using that brief appearance to claim he “teaches graduate level students at MIT”!

Dear Bam123,

In my extensive due diligence on Timothy Morge, I was able to track down the head of the small MIT student finance club, because he was mentioned in one of Morge’s DVDs. I attach the screen shot of my brief communication with this individual, and he wanted absolutely nothing to do with Morge or Market Geometry. Unfortunately, the way Mr. Morge has made it appear to all, is that his teaching of MIT students (and Stanford, he stated as well!) is ongoing, and teaching these MIT/Stanford grad students, shall we say, is part of his monthly duties/routine. As you can see from the link you mentioned, it was just a ONE TIME appearance at a tiny student club, which Morge parlayed into being part of the faculty at MIT. He has also stated that he has an actual faculty office at The University of Chicago, and also teaches at Stanford.View attachment 187304

As a side note, the MIT student, Magnus, mentioned that Morge was there to sell Market Geometry subscriptions.
Just so everyone knows you told Magness

In your conversation with Magnus you said that you were thinking of joining market geometry but in a post you sent to me you said that you had been at market geometry for five years. Cynthia told me that you called her several months ago with wild accusations about Tim and your incoherent ramblings seem to be just that incoherent. I don’t know why you’re attacking Tim but you should at least keep your story straight if you wish to be believed. Also why wouldn’t you get Cynthia your name?

Indeed, in my brief exchange with Magnus, my investigative intuition told me to appear as a fresh student looking for guidance. I wanted as unbiased feedback as possible. Not likely, if you mention you have been at Market Geometry for 5 years. As for “wild accusations and incoherent ramblings”, you can see from my very coherent comments here, that is not the case (I am a very logical person, just looking at facts). Very corteously, I simply asked Cynthia whether IB had done any type of due diligence on Morge’s degrees, and his fund. Above, I describe what went on. Nobody did any due diligence. I am simply exposing an individual who has been very misleading, and hopefully saving a lot of people from being lied to. I am keeping my story very straight.

I did introduce myself on the call, by full name, and she also has it in the email I sent her a few months ago.

Honestly, can't you really, Bam123?

I have no horse in this race at all, but surely you can see that people in a field with such a widespread questionable reputation as this, effectively claiming to have been awarded three PhD's in three different subjects in a decade, and implying that they've taught at a university at which it turns out they'd simply addressed a student society meeting are going to have their credentials questioned in public, if that information comes out?

Nothing personal, and absolutely no offense intended at all, but I can't help wondering whether "not knowing why such a person is being attacked" is possibly just a little on the naive side?
