Tillerson is low energy. And so is Sessions.
Let the press and others moan. If it takes Trump a full year to find people who are not duds, then so be it. Hillary had a full slate of proven losers that she was ready to appoint if elected and they were not going anywhere for a longgggggggggggggg..........time. That is not pretty either. She wanted to keep Loretta, put susan rice in as secretary of state, and some recent transsexual as secretary of defense. Frig dat.

If this is true, then it is part of a very disturbing pattern typical of very dangerous demagogues in world history. If Mattis goes, we may all be in grave danger. Why don't McConnell and Ryan do something? They are in charge.

White House Reportedly Plans To Replace Rex Tillerson With Mike Pompeo
Pompeo has long been considered a replacement for Tillerson.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson could soon be replaced by CIA Director Mike Pompeo, The New York Times reported Thursday.
Quoting senior administration officials, the Times said Pompeo’s role at the CIA would be given to Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) as part of a White House plan to oust Tillerson.
Pompeo has been Tillerson’s expected successor for months. In October, Sebastian Gorka, former advisor to President Donald Trump, told Breitbart Pompeo is “fully on board, very loyal to the president.”
“Having somebody like Pompeo come into the State Department would be great news,” Gorka said.

He may be low energy, but he's a very intelligent, level-headed man.

I was not a big Tillerson fan but I just read an article in the NYT assailing him for "gutting" the State Department by firing a lot of deadwood. So I have mixed feelings now. Whatever his shortcomings, Tillerson could see a top-heavy bureaucracy filled with self-important relics who needed to go. The State Department is a bit of a relic from bygone days when communications with foreign lands took place by telegraph and travel was slow and dangerous. It is unclear to me why we need such a vast organization now.
Smart guys know when to bail out. A war with NK is coming and it's going to be like nothing we've seen for quite a long time. Any way you slice it, explaining the body count will be tough to do and even harder to swallow. The chickens are coming home to roost. No more fingers crossed and kick the can down the road. This shit is gonna' get real.
Little Rocket Man is making good progress on his nuke plans but he does not exactly have a fine-tuning knob on some of those rockets. Wait until he sends one that he thinks is going to land off Japan and instead it lands in Simi Valley. That will be an attention-getter for sure.
