they are on a march to high end manufacturing, so my educated guess is that the chinese government will allow TikTok to be sold at a good price as it is, no more algo updates for the new contents, so it will be a dead horse before you know it in few years.

I've used Tiktok quite a lot, so I understand why US govt ban tiktok for national security or trade war reason.

If you have used Tiktok for some times, you would know this is the most powerful tool for influencing people's mind for the century, Its the god for GenZ no kidding. And banning Tiktok mean no more dropshipping products from China to US. Bold step by US and look like they are winning this round, now it's time for China to decide how to fight back.

TikTok’s algo is an internet technology on Chinese government export control list, so even if we buy it, it is a dead horse. Otherwise Instagram and YouTube short can compete effectively by now.
