Looks like Trump won by most polls except CNN watchers. But i tend to agree with this analysis by Lionel Nation.

But for me personally, Hillary loses for making those who questioned Obama's eligibility a matter of racism rather than legality...just as she has been making the immigration issue about racism rather than legality (and it's impact on American workers and general security). Does she think we are that stupid...to bite on race bait?

And Trump loses for implying that he settled the issue by making Obama produce a birth certificate...which ended up being patently fake. Loses by waffling on why he continued to agitate even after it was produced [because it was fake]. Should have said that because Obama was a Red Diaper Baby to U.S. Citizens (both mother and father), he was indeed a Natural Born and as eligible to seek the presidency as Bernie or any other card carrying communist.

Well, here is where Hillary's extensive practice/rehearsal has paid off, and Trump's free-wheeling can't-coach-me style has somewhat backfired.

CNN/ORC's snap poll, gave Clinton the win with 62 per cent to Trump's 27.

It was the biggest, and fastest, exercise conducted by an opinion polling firm.

The poll of 521 registered voters who watched the debate was a sample which the network warned leaned more Democratic than the average - starting the night with Clinton ahead 26 per cent among the sample.

I think Hillary won but I think Trump had some good moments.I was watching the betting odds during the debate and they were shooting up for Hillary.Earlier today she was around 62 before the debates, now she's at 69.2 .Trump was around 32 before the debate,29.6 after.

I was watching Predictit as much as the debate as well (we are traders after all!). Made me think there's got to be an opportunity there, even if it is only a few bucks you're allowed to trade. Seemed like very strong momentum behavior to my unschooled eye, curious what those more into that type of trading think?

Democrats are crowing this morning and with good reason. Hillary won hands down. Trump is a shoot from the hip guy. I suppose that works well making real estate deals, not so much in politics. Many a missed opportunity.

I'm gonna call bullshit on this simply based on the first graphic, Slate. There's no such poll posted on Slate (be happy to get a direct link if you have it), wasn't one last night either. I know you didn't make up the graphic, but whoever did clearly completely fabricated it. Is this the kind of thing that you think makes America "great"?

The problem is that while Hillary can sound plausible, it takes a fair amount of sophistication to cut through the lies and spin. When she says we need "investment" in this or that, she means we need to raise taxes and use the money for crony capitalism. When she says raise taxes on the "rich", she means middle class, just like when Bill was president.

The debate was largely useless because of the braindead moderator, who spent most of his time trying to appease the media critics who would have eviscerated him if he had not attacked Trump relentlessly, and because of Trump's maddening inability to articulate his points simply and clearly.
