Trump is a shoot from the hip guy. I suppose that works well making real estate deals, not so much in politics.
I think that shooting from the hip is generally overrated. As for Trump's real estate business, let's remember that he got his start with his father's money, his father's connections and incredible tax breaks that he could not have gotten without his father's money and his father's connections:

Shooting from the hip can work when you have all manner of connections and people cleaning up after you, because then you can succeed in spite of yourself. What he should have taught at Trump University is how to be born into money and connections so that other people could deal with the pesky details of getting things done while he talks blue-sky.

After spending time with him regularly over a period of 18 months, his own ghost writer said that Trump couldn't concentrate or focus for any length of time.

Even in business, he'd be dead in the water had it not been for his father's money or his father's connections. And the incredible tax breaks that he got because of his father's money and his father's connections.

I'm gonna call bullshit on this simply based on the first graphic, Slate. There's no such poll posted on Slate (be happy to get a direct link if you have it), wasn't one last night either. I know you didn't make up the graphic, but whoever did clearly completely fabricated it. Is this the kind of thing that you think makes America "great"?

Is it that hard to google 'slate debate poll'?

and because of Trump's maddening inability to articulate his points simply and clearly.
Tell me what you think those points are, Ann, and I'll copy and paste Drumpf saying something quite different if not the opposite. That's not an "inability to articulate".

I suppose you think reading canned scripts no matter what the question is, is a sign of real aptitude.
Think Hillary would be running for president if she hadn't been a little first lady hanger on for eight years? Did she do it all on her own? smh

It has been repeatedly said by the people who know them that Bill would never have become president had it not been for Hillary. They were both ambitious, he had the charisma, but she was the stronger of the two. And they both came from far more humble beginnings that Trump. Further, unlike all of the First Ladies before her, she had a far more active role in government. And she was always all about the details, because it is the details that make the big picture.

You think she would have been elected Senator and then appointed Sec of State if she hadn't married into the first lady gig?
She did nothing as a Senator to distinguish herself and her time at Sec of St was a complete clusterfart.
Even her own supporters are left stammering and gulping when asked what her accomplishments were at State. In fact, even she herself can't think of any. Didn't have any canned bs scripts to regurgitate when she was asked.
