THUG IN CHIEF OBAMA: FOX NEWS IS “DESTRUCTIVE”

President Obama attacked the most-watched cable news outlet in the nation today calling it “destructive.”

Unreal.
CBS reported:
In this month’s cover story for Rolling Stone magazine, President Obama weighs in on the cable network Fox News, saying that while he can’t object to the network carrying out its constitutional right to freedom of the press, he thinks it promotes a perspective that is “ultimately destructive for the long-term growth” of America.

“Look, as president, I swore to uphold the Constitution, and part of that Constitution is a free press,” Obama laughed, in response to a question from Rolling Stone publisher Jann Wenner about whether or not Fox News was “a good institution for America and for democracy.”

“We’ve got a tradition in this country of a press that oftentimes is opinionated. The golden age of an objective press was a pretty narrow span of time in our history. Before that, you had folks like Hearst who used their newspapers very intentionally to promote their viewpoints,” Mr. Obama said. “I think Fox is part of that tradition — it is part of the tradition that has a very clear, undeniable point of view.”

Mr. Obama, whose relationship with the cable network has in the past been rocky — former White House communications director Anita Dunn at one point called it “the communications arm of the Republican party” — made no concessions in regard to his dissatisfaction for the content of the network’s coverage.

I realize some of my friends here who think they are "conservative" are going to rain down on me for saying this, but I tend to agree in some ways with Obama's opinion on this matter.

FOX is woefully biased during much of their programming day. It's true. Admit it; you'll feel better and you'll make yourself a better conservative.

Fine. Then tell us all what other networks are biased like FOX. That is, in a center right manner.

I'm not sure I understand your question.

ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, etc...

Which are the other center right news orgs?

Well, where to begin?

First of all, if you think FOX is center right, then we already got a disagreement going. But, let's move on...

I'll be fairly brief.

I don't watch ABC, NBC, or CBS. Who are they?? I mean, this ain't 1960.

FOX = Radical right.

MSNBC = Radical left.

CNN = Where I go if I want real news.

Too bad though. CNN is also where I would go if I wanted to hear the anti-white man news. That's why I don't go there for such. I happen to be white. I happen to not be a racist and I don't like it when I hear it. I don't like it when I hear it about black people, brown people, or white people. So, I find CNN guilty of racism.

You see, I'm a person who is not controlled by Sean Hannity, Keith Olbermann, Rush Limbaugh, or any other person for that matter. And, I call 'em like I see 'em. Oh yeah, Karl Rove sucks.

I do believe that Bill O'reilly makes an effort to look at both sides of an issue. And, this may come as a shocker to you, but Ann Coulter also makes many good points, in my opinion.

So, I watch some MSNBC, CNN, and FOX. Then, I decide who is being "fair and balanced". Don't forget, Pat Buchanan is on MSNBC.

You got to look at the big picture and not close your mind to the thoughts and actions of others, until they prove their intent. I think Hannity, Limbaugh, and Olbermann.....and, oh yeah Rachel Maddow...(excuse me just a moment; I got to go vomit.)

Okay, back now.

...have proved what they are up to.

By what taxonomy do you classify Fox as "center-right?"

The same branch of science Obama uses to classify FOX as "destructive".

Is it really that hard to understand?
