Those of us who had decent health care in 2009 have been ripped off

Single payer is going to happen...
I just think the sellout on the hill better realize they will get their political careers handed to them again if they screw those who work for a living again.

just remember how many democrats lost their jobs on the hill and around the country because of obamacare.

establish Republicans and smart dems better stick up for the taxpayers.
We don't want to see free for democrat base but expensive for taxpayer crap.

Don't forget that big biz wants single payer to get out of health insurance costs. CEO's and Wall Streeters, congress, political elites etc will have separate system. They aren't waiting for five hours to get treated while every illegal with twelve kids goes ahead of them.

You are right.
its time for my rant...

We must have a voucher system for basic coverage and competition across state lines.

So the consumer has control of where to spend their money so the insurance companies have reasons to keep the consumer's experience healthy.

If a person or company wants a non basic coverage they can then purchase higher levels of service with the silver gold or custom plan.

The system really is like that already. I know of top specialists who only work for cash right now anyway.

If you want a taste of single payer, go to big city ER on Sat night. Or just go to DMV.

The CBO dutifully estimated that 26 million would be covered by 2016 and that the 10 year cost would be less than $1 trillion.
This original cost estimate amounts to $320/mo per person over ten years. That's a little more than double, by comparison with cost in other advanced nations.

Single payer, ie socialist, system was always dem's goal. Obamacare was engineered trainwreck designed to bring it about.
The train wreck was a joint project, but the Republicans had the leadership role. How quickly we forget that the majority of Democrats wanted the public option, but a few Democrats combined with nearly 100% of Republicans killed it. Then once the Democrats forced through Obamacare, sans public option, The Republicans set about from day one to wreck it, And they largely succeeded. I always viewed Obamacare as just a step toward the inevitable. Had the public option been included from the get go, the transition would be smoother. But regardless, it will take years, if it ever happens, to wring out all the graft and corruption from U.S. "medical care". It may take rolling out the guillotine.

We are a nation of crises. Sometimes things have to get incredibly bad before we act. That's because there are so many pigs feeding at the trough. And the hardest thing in the world is to get pigs away from a trough.
