Thorn is calling....nothing at the moment.

Title of the thread is "Thorn is calling", and the first phrase of the first post says "nothing at the moment".

Thorn is calling....nothing at the moment. Then it says "All I will say is that I THINK..."

Understand? When I see the next intermediate term top, I will start another thread called "the s&p just made an intermediate term top @..."

Let's not read too deeply into this thread. First, i'm only really interested in the polll sentiment. Second, i'm not very smart and the thread is what it is, nothing more.

How 'bout now? Looks like the economic numbers of the last couple of days combined with this prolonged runup might give us a real pullback here. Not a crash "apocalypse now" scenario but a pullback.

yes, I still think the s&p can finish the year below 1350.

Like I said earlier today, I still think the s&p can close the year below 1350.

It can also close above 1400. It can also close below 1300 or above 1450. Using the "can" verb is not telling much. You need to provide some kind of probabilities behind it. My take is 50/50 , because I just do not know.

hehe, not the end of day, but close enough! :p

not quite sure what you're saying here, but i hope an apology follows when i'm proven correct.

Proven correct on what?

i wasn't sure what satchel was talking about, so i followed with an equally ambiguous line. i learned that in dealing w bozente.

The only thing i've predicted here(?) is that the s&p has topped for 2006, and that was in another trading thread.

nothing at this moment. All I will say is that I think the s&p will be below 1350, where it closed today, at year end 2006. So that's how I voted in the above poll. Anyone want to go against the mighty thorn? [/QUOTE

This call was incorrect.
