Looters Steal $2.4 Million Worth Of Watches From SoHo Rolex Store In New York City

Looters took to SoHo in Manhattan late Sunday night and broke into a number of businesses including a Rolex store and swiped $2.4 million worth of watches, according to the New York Post.

Video shows throngs of people making their way through the front door of the Greene Street store before fleeing a short time later.

“The Rolex store is empty,” a police source said. “They stole like $2.4 million in Rolexes.”

NYPD Deputy Commissioner John Miller said outside “agitators” with ties to anarchist groups were using the George Floyd protests to loot and spark violence between cops and demonstrators.

The Apple store, Nike, Chanel, Lululemon, and other shops in SoHo, as well as coffee shops, chain drug stores, and other businesses around New York City, were damaged and/or looted on Sunday night as well.

According to CBS 2, New York police said approximately 250 people were arrested, six officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and roughly a dozen police vehicles were damaged on Sunday.

Looters Argue With Armed Store Owners ‘About Why They Can’t Break In’ On Live TV

Live TV broadcast showed a group of suspected looters in Los Angeles confront business owners bearing long guns for not allowing them to break in to stores.

“There’s a standoff here arguing about why they can’t break into the place,” a Fox 11 TV reporter said during a live broadcast Sunday evening. Soon after, both the alleged looters and the people in front of the store attempted to flag down police. When police arrived, confusion broke out and officers began to arrest everyone.

The alleged looters bolted across the street as cops confronted the armed group. The Fox 11 reporter indicated that the people in front of the store were protecting their businesses and the cars parked beside the street, but the armed group of people were pinned on a wall and cuffed nevertheless. “No. No. They’re fine,” the reporter said. “Sir they’re protecting the store, the looters are over there.”

Police then repeatedly asked the reporter where the looters went. The video then zoomed out to show around a dozen men in uniform fanning out through the middle of the street and grabbing those who had been present on the sidewalk.

“This is one of the most surreal moments we’ve seen,” the news anchor said.

Los Angeles was one of the epicenters of violent riots following George Floyd’s death. California officials approved the National Guard to deploy and quell the unrest, as nearly 400 were arrested Saturday night, according to the Associated Press.

It is ok...you don't think police are killing or Black people for doing nothing or misdemeanors at any significant rate. My beliefs are supported by numerous cases that have been reported without any change or comment.

Your ilk are quick to report about someone getting killed for a traffic stop was probably a bad person or committed some crime 3 years earlier or was not cooperating, resisting arrest and therefore deserved to die.

In the cities being run by the more radical left mayors there will be no help for citizens. Seattle mayor going so far to say that she supports looting and violence, and everyone needs to feel the pain. At some point armed citizens will have to defend themselves. Watch how quickly these leftist mayors turn loose the police on them. They, the citizens will be deemed the real threat, and doing whatever it takes to stop them, up to and including deadly force, will be the order of the day. Bet the farm, it's coming.

Come on man, he's not saying that at all. In fact he has posts condemning those who are blaming the victim by bringing up some past history of criminal activity. That is fact. Now if we're talking statistics, just raw numbers, there is no "significant" number of blacks or anyone else being gunned down by police. Nine unarmed black men were killed by police last year, 9. Something like 17 unarmed white people were killed as well. There were near 10 million arrests made last year. From a pure statistical perspective, nothing but numbers, these killings are in fact anomalies.

I'm not sure about my "ilk" as you call them, as my opinions are entirely my own and I don't follow a general position narrative. I believe that is the same with you from what I've seen in your posts. If your intent is to be inflammatory and get us both into an insult match, I must applaud you - you're doing a good job to make this more about arguing than discussing with commentary like that.

You can have whatever belief you want, and so can I. The way we convince others of our position is to show data that turns anecdotal evidence into empirical evidence. I welcome any you have to support your position.
